What the gel is

A water-based preparation with the slip the nuru technique is built on. It carries no fragrance of its own unless you choose scented oils alongside, and it rinses away completely with warm water.

Temperature is the craft

Cold gel would break the spell every time it was applied. Ours is kept at body temperature and renewed in small amounts, so the glide never startles and never goes tacky.

Skin, honestly

The gel is kind to most skin; if yours is sensitive or reactive, tell us at booking and we will adjust or substitute. Nothing is applied that you have not agreed to in the confirmation conversation.

Why it matters

Continuity is what separates nuru from ordinary massage, and the gel is what makes continuity possible. It is a small material decision with the whole experience resting on it.

Does it stain or linger?

No. It is water-based, rinses fully in the warm shower that ends the session, and leaves skin soft, not coated.

Can I request unscented everything?

Yes — scent preferences live in your profile and are prepared before you arrive.

Is the gel used in every program?
